Primary fallopian tube carcinoma (PFTC) is a rare diagnosis, although the hypotheses regarding underestimation of the incidence have been previously reported. There is previous data that has been published in regards to clinical manifestation, diagnosis, and treatment of PFTC, although relevant randomized results are still lacking due to the disease's low incidence.
Thus even small studies can provide useful information. The presented retrospective study described 15 PFTC patients collected during a five-year interval.
