Abstract
The chapter deals with the concept, types, role and objectives of the civil procedure. Its difficulty is constantly increasing.
The complex legal issues cease to be just a matter for the judge, the active role of the parties is becoming necessary. The author also intends the gradual modification of the impact of the iura novit curia principle and the reinforcing role of the parties in legal issues, but with consciousness that the responsibility for the correct application of the law remains in court.
