Abstract
An amendment of the act on criminal liability of legal entities and proccedings against them (act no. 418/2011) made by act no. 183/2016 has enabled prosecution of legal entities in a broader range than before. This also applies to legal entities - healthcare providers, who can by prosecuted not only for property (economic) crime, but also for most criminal acts against life and health, which was not possible previously.In his article, the author points out the specifics of criminal prosecution of these entities.
