Abstract

Failure of facial nerve function due to pressure changes during flying or diving is attributable to insufficient equilibrium of midrange pressure due to Eustachian tube dysfunction. In the otoneurological clinic of the Department of Otolaryngology in Motol, in August 2016, a 35-year-old woman was examined for repeated attacks of peripheral facial nerve palsy on the left.
