Challenging therapy of severe psoriasis and psoriatic artrtitis

Abstract

Biological therapy has recently enriched therapeutic options and significantly improved the treatment of psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. A case describing a 56-year-old female with severe plaque psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis would like to point out that despite the availability of numerous treatment modalities including biologics, long-term management of moderate to severe psoriasis might remain difficult and rather challenging.
