The bachelor thesis deals with postoperative care in the patient after kidney transplantation. Theoretical part of the thesis opens the areas of anatomy and renal physiology.
I also deal with the causes of kidney failure. At the same time, signs and diagnoses of kidney failure.
Next, I deal with the treatment of renal failure, especially transplantation. Transplantation medicine has undergone considerable development over the last twenty years.
Transplantation of organs has become a routine part of treatment and often the only option for patients with severe organ renal impairment. Due to the development of immunosuppressive drugs and the improvement of surgical techniques, the results of kidney transplants have greatly improved in recent years.
The aim of the thesis is to focus on postoperative care of the patient after transplantation. The methodology is elaborated in the form of casuistic work in the theoretical framework of perioperative care with this issue.
The benefit of this work is an educational brochure for patients after transplantation.
