Abstract
Chronic venous insufficiency is, as is known, in women three times as common in men. The nursing gynecologist is often in the position of a first-line physician who sees not only the incipient problems with venous insufficiency but also extensive varicose complexes on the lower limbs and the vulva.
Likewise, our patients may also complain about hemorrhoids, and eventually some of the extra gynecological problem of pelipathia may be associated with varicose veins in a small pelvis.
