The use of social constructivism in environmental history of selected water issues

Abstract

The objective of the paper is to present the epistemological approach of social constructivism used in water research in environmental history. In the first part, the history of natural science and philosophical roots that influenced constructivist water research are described.

Based on the analyses of the social constructivist studies, the alternative methods of water researchers are presented and conceptualized in the second part of the paper.
