Abstract
The tragic theories from Plato to Nietzsche try to find the cause of the tragedy. The article shows that when the tragic figures are trapped in a "tragic dilemma" and they realize their will they will suffer a disaster.
The inevitability of tragedy lies in the will of tragic figures.
