Nietzsche's view and use of Buddhism in The Antichrist- and beyond. With additional discussion of Schopenhauer's philosophy as anti-life

Abstrakt

In this text I discuss Nietzsche's view of Buddhism, which has both positive elements, as well as a negative assessment. I also trace the influence of Schopenhauer on Nietzsche with regard to his understanding of Buddhism.
