Abstract
This section focuses on fiduciary duties, which are currently divided into duty of loyalty and duty of care, in six relatively separate parts. First, a basic definition of the fiduciary duty is made, with definitions of the leading dictioneries and encyclopaedias, then in connection with the finding of the fundamental absence of the current concept of fiduciary duties in Roman law.
Subsequently, attention is focused on the Bible, then the reader is presented with the basic concept of fiduciary duties in corporate law and the concept of fiduciary duties is extended to the public sphere. Finally, in Part Six, the concept of fiduciary duties is applied to the remuneration of judges and the specific recent decision of the Supreme Court of the Czech Republic on the pay of Czech judges.
