The wolf inside the patient's head is dead and Buffalo Man is dancing to the rhythm of acid jazz. I greatly appreciate the interest in the Wolf Sign, and the expressed support from my colleagues at the Mayo clinic, Rochester, USA.

My congratulations to the authors for their work and discovery of the Buffalo Man living within the specimen removed from the patient with a rare giant infantile mature teratoma of the skull base. It is another perfect example of how the "Eye of the Beholder" may interpret these visual reports to enrich our knowledge and highlight the never fading appeal of neurosurgery.

I would like to take this opportunity to inform you that the wolf inside our patient's head has been culled. Both foramina of Monro are now widely patent and the fornices are decompressed.

For the past 3 months of follow-ups, the boy has thankfully not suffered any of his typical paroxysmal headaches, and has been able to listen to heavy metal, acid-jazz, or whatever his young taste desired.
