Decreased glycopeptide susceptibility in Staphylococcus pasteuri associated with a mutation in uncharacterised conserved membrane protein STP1_1701

Abstract

Here we report that Staphylococcus pasteuri, a low-virulence coagulase-negative staphylococci (CoNS) species, shows decrease susceptibility to glycopeptides through a single nucleotide mutation.
