Form of life: the ordinary threatened

Publication at Faculty of Humanities |

Abstract

The goal of this paper is to suggest that the concept of the form of life presented by Wittgenstein is based on the grammar of the ordinary constantly being accompanied by skepticism. Through analyzing Evans-Pritchard, I will also suggest that skeptical threat is not coming from outside of the form of life, but it is an immanent part of human society, and is sometimes represented by some institutions of the society itself.
