Abstract
The article is a review essay of the book Anthropologists in a Trap by Martin Paleček. The book was published by Pavel Mervart in 2017.
Paleček's book is critical of anthropological approaches which aim to explain human action and offers approaches based on cognitive sciences as a viable alternative to anthropology. The review essay shows where Paleček's criticism falls short and instead of providing an excelent criticism presents a caricature of anthropological approaches.
