Abstract

Software KoKa 2.0 assists in automatic assessment of performance in standard neuropsychological tests in older persons of 60+ years of age. Statistically significant demographic parameters, such as age, education, or gender, are incorporated.

The lists of tests is updated; the 2.0 version includes: Mini-Mental State Examination (MMSE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment ( MoCA), verbal fluency tests (animals, vegetable; phonemic: K, P, S), Rey-Österrieth Complex figure test (ROCFT), Free and Cued Selective reminding test with Immediate Recall (FCSRT-IR), and Prague Stroop Test, Rey Auditory-Verbal Learning Test (RAVLT), Story, Boston Naming Test (BNT30), Trail Making Test (TMT A and B), Digit-Symbol Substitution Test and Digit Span of WAIS-III. The software calculates percentiles, T- scores and Z-scores.

The program uses regression equations or percentile tables, and this the results may slightly differ from simplified tables in published articles. The performance is compared with norms obtained from the National Normative Study of Cognitive Determinants of Healthy Aging in 2012-15 in the Czech Republic.

The interpretation of the report must be performed by a qualified professional, a psychologist. The resulting overview of calculated scores can be printed as pdf file as an attachment for clinical-psychological report from an assessment of cognitive functions.
