The paper presents the results of research from the peripheral regions of the Czech Republic (Ústí nad Labem and Karlovy Vary Region). The aim of the research carried out between 2015 and 2017 was to identify social capital and to monitor the employment of secondary school graduates in the labor market or thein further educational path according to variol criteria.
Other sociological indications were the differences between the entry capital of respondents from different types of secondary schools and different regions, the parents' profession and the environment fostering the development of intellectual abilities and technical skills of children-students.
