Abstract
From 25th to 28th June 2018 a prestigious international student conference, Current Research in Egyptology (CRE), was held in Prague, at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University. CRE is a challenge meeting being established in the United Kingdom, Oxford, in the year 2000 and has been hosted in Oxford, Cambridge, London, Krakow, or Naples.
It provides a platform for students and junior researches to be integrated into the professional international Egyptological community. In Prague, there were more than 100 attending people from different countries and institutions.
The variety of themes was very wide, covering every period of ancient Egyptian and Nubian history, their society, religious life, material culture or archaeological excavations.
