The Flesh in the Phenomenology of Jean-Luc Marion: solitude and the erotic

Abstrakt

This paper intends to elaborate the paradoxical status of the flesh, which at one and the same time gives renders the experience of a profound and irrevocable singularity (cf. (( La chair ou la donation du soi }}, in De surcroît. Études sur le phénomènes saturés) and which binds me to the other in an erotic and filial relation (cf. Le phénomène érotique, surtout ch. 4, §23 et ch. 6, §§38-39).
