Abstract

This paper deals with the imprint of the history of the countries of present-day Romania (Transylvania, Wallachia and Moldavia) of the early modern news during the period of the so-called long fifteen-year war. The analysis is subject to newspaper flyers of Czech provenance printed in both Czech and German languages between 1593 and 1606 in order to create a view of the Romanian lands from the Czech view.
