Abstract
When designing information systems for eHealth, it is essential to describe the structure of processes of the proposed systems well. Models using hierarchical state machines (statecharts) are an effective tool for the dynamic description and subsequent simulation, which is the basis of interdisciplinary understanding among information systems architects, doctors and policy makers.
Well-designed processes will make it possible to avoid errors in the proposed architecture and the necessary legislative support, which is later difficult to correct.
