In my paper, I would like to discuss the possibilities and limits of intertextuality, that means the discourse formations and practices of different types and forms of texts and their interrelations, with a focus on the construction of cultural memory. I understand intertextuality as a network of relations between texts (Kristeva 1966).
The interconnected texts become a place of cultural memory, which is preserved, renewed and constantly re-evaluated in the texts (Lachmann 1996).
