Where does archeology cross natural sciences?

Abstract

Contemporary archaeology is not a purely humanities anymore but is a field which increasingly uses methods and knowledge "borrowed" from natural sciences: physics, chemistry, geology, computer sciences, biology, genetics and anthropology. Crossing archaelogy with mentioned exact disciplines is illustrated by "stories" and research of the depository of the Hrdlicka Museum of Man, a part of the Faculty of Science Charles University in Prague.
