Abstract

The article is a result of my research fellowship at the Humboldt University in Berlin which was supported from ESF "International Mobility of Researchers at Charles University" (No. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/16_027/0008495) between 1.3. - 31.8. 2018.

The article summarizes the history of the study of Anatolian and Greek interchange in the Late Bronze Age from the beginning of the early 20th century and the revolutionary discoveries of the Swiss orientalist Emil Orgetorix Forrer. It evaluates our knowledge on the basis of primary sources as well as secondary literature.

Furthermore the precise morphological structure of respective Anthroponyms is given and their rendering across language boarders is put under scrutiny.
