The following presentation is based on results of the follow-up survey at the locality Měděnka near Mutěnín in the District of Domažlice, which was carried out in the years 2014-2016. The research within my master's degree thesis is a free continuation of research activities carried out within the scope of the bachelor's degree thesis where I addressed the issue of prehistoric exploitation of copper deposits. The above-mentioned field research brought several fundamental findings, which are very important to the history of research at the locality as well as to the study concerning the problem of provability of prehistoric/early medieval copper mining in Bohemia.
Field survey targeted at identification of prehistoric/eraly medieval activities on the copper deposit yielded some new positive detections, but also many questions which must be treated in possible follow-up theses, and the topic and research must be further extended.
