Abstrakt
The paper explores the Communist apparatus's crackdowns on young people they considerd excessively insubordinate, mapping the story of a late 1966 campaing against long-haired young people in Czechoslovakia. It focus in particular on the pursuit of long hairs in Slovakia, drawing primarily on reports from State Security.
The second half of the paper delivers a short description on the development of the Slovak underground and attempts to map its characteristics.
