Abstract
Tigecycline is a glycylcycline antibiotic of the tetracycline class. Studies were carried out on its efficacy in the therapy of complicated skin and soft tissue infections, complicated intraabdominal infections and community- and hospital-acquired pneumonia.
The comment of studies results focuses on dosage of tigecycline in the therapy of pneumonia.
