Transnational Aspects of Contemporary Canadian Indigenous Fiction

Abstrakt

The paper examines the topic of transnational literary exchange between Euro-Canadian literary tradition and Canadian Indigenous culture. It focuses on the way contemporary Indigenous authors mix different ways of narration, use, transform and blend Indigenous and non-Indigenous mythological characters creating thus what might be called transnational literary texts.
