Abstract
this paper aims to propose social background of Udjahorresnet within the Sais-Buto area, being a probable member of a well-connected priestly family active in various temples throughout the Nile Delta. Since the priestly families of Lower Egypt have never been analysed in depth in modern historiography, the results of this research must remain only preliminary until the more comprehensive work could be done.
