Publication at Faculty of Arts |
2018

Abstract

The main goal of the study is a better understanding of the animal husbandry system in use at Malá Strana, especially focused on cattle (Bos taurus) and pig (Sus domesticus) keeping, and its diachronic change. The collected archaeozoological data is analysed to establish the relative frequency of taxa, skeletal frequencies, age and sex profiles of livestock, and biometrical data.

The results are then integrated with previously published data.
