Review: Dragoun, Michal - Marek, Jindrich. Fragment of Manuscripts from the Library of the National Museum: The Collections of Adolf Patera and Čeněk Zíbrt
Abstract
The review of the publication by Michal Dragoun and Jindřich Marek describes the exploration of manuscripts' fragments from the collections of Adolf Patera and Čeněk Zíbrt, deposited in the Library of the National Museum of the Czech Republic. The opening article summarizes the last years of the research into manuscripts' fragments and appropriately comments them as a whole.
Each of the authors took one collection. Each collection is accompanied by an extensive introduction, describing the history of the collection and the course of catalogizing works.
The index entries themselves are precise. They correspond both to the Principles for Describing Manuscripts and to the new requirements of digital manuscript processings.
