The influence of the Latin subjunctive on complement clauses in Old and Middle Czech

Abstrakt

The talk presented a theory of the extent of the Latin influence on Czech in two historical periods, the 14th-15th century and the 16th-17th century, based on the first results of the quantitative comparison of the use of verbs in the subjunctive/"conditional mood" or in the indicative in specific type of dependent clauses.
