Abstrakt
Pattern recognition can be used in various branches and one of them is medicine. This paper deals with diagnostics of Alzheimer's disease from SPECT images.
In general, these images are high-dimensional data which are not easy to classify. In order to solve this task, we decided to use kernel based principal component analysis to reduce the dimensionality of the images, and then use quadratic discriminant analysis.
