Abstract

The research deals with the conditions for admission to the army of the Czech Republic. The purpose of this research is to compare Psychodiagnostics of recruit applicants in the military and ascertain the differences between successful candidates and those who didn't succeed.

The focus is on the period of recruitment and subsequent training. The goal is to find predictive indicators of success and later renew The Motivational Questionnaire, which is used during the recruitment process in both The Psychological Department of The Military University Hospital Prague and the Department of Clinical Psychology of the Military Hospital Olomouc.

Analysis of Motivation Questionnaire Confirmed some implicit hypotheses but also pointed to unexpected circumstances. The sample consisted of 1772 recruits (1706 men, 66 women).

Out of this number, 191 recruits did not complete the basic training course. Analysis of the PSSI method showed only minor significant differences between the recruits who completed the training and who did not.

Here, the sample consisted of 1223 recruits (1168 men, 55 women), of which training did not complete 123.
