Besides the discovery of the administrative papyri from the mortuary temple of king Raneferef, the same monument provided yet another evidence on the administration of the pyramid complexes of the Fifth Dynasty. The excavations of the Czechoslovak Institute of Egyptology headed by Miroslav Verner uncovered also the corpus of about one thousand of clay sealings.
The paper will discuss outcome of the first phase of the re-evaluation of these sealings. It was possible to partially reconstruct several cylinder seals, thus we can focus on the bureaucrats, who used them.
What patterns outline the authority, resp. activity of latter officials? What titles did they hold? What more do we know about them - or, at least, about men, who held combinations of such titles in given region and period of time?
