Abstract

The author in this article deals with the problem of the interpretation of the fragments of Iustinian Digest, specifically the 48 th book of Iustinian Digest which contains the fragments related to the Roman criminal law and crimen, which were recognized by Roman law. The author researches the aforesaid problem not only theoretically, but also practically and in the article analyses two fragments from 48 th book of Iustinian Digest, selected from the titles dedicated to crimen falsi and crimen repetundarum.
