The Goblet from the Treasury of St. Vitus Cathedral and its Liturgical Function in the 14th Century

Abstract

Charles IV donated the sardonyx goblet to the Prague cathedral in 1350. The paper explains the goblet's function based on the reconstruction of the coresponding liturgical acts according to Missale Pragensis Dioecensis and the Pontifical of Albert of Sternberg.
