Abstract
The paper focusses on the motives of aggression of primary school aged children, on developmental trajectories of aggression, gender differences in motives of aggression and their connection with the upbringing style of their parents. The objective of the research was to examine motives of aggression of primary school aged children and examine the effects of age, gender, sibling birth order, and parenting styles on motives of aggression.
We didn't find any significant difference among groups based on age, gender, sibling birth order or divorce of parents. The main finding was the discovery of eight significant correlations in boys and four significant correlations in girls between FTT's factors of aggression and their parents' upbringing styles.
