Abstract
Legislation relating to tourism is a very specific element of the legal order. It is predominantly very modern legislation.
Nevertheless, the historical development and tradition of tourism legislation are of scientific significance. This brief study is mainly intended to analyse the state of research, to attempt to define tourism legislation and to highlight the main development trends.
