Abstract

The book explores the social movements that emerged in various countries in post-war Europe. The respective chapter examines the process of spontaneous rise, development and decline of the works councils against the backdrop of the gradually establishment of the communist dictatorship in Czechoslovakia between 1945 and 1948.
