Abstract
This article deals with Dostoevsky's literary elaboration of biblical texts and themes. A general analysis of Dostoevsky's method of use of biblical texts is presented.
The purpose of the analysis of Crime and Punishment and Demons is to demonstrate how their author interprets particular New Testament passages such as Jn 11, the Passion narrative, Lk 8:26-39 and Rev 3:14-17.
