Television and radio broadcasting for children and young people

Abstract

The text analyzes the transformation of the role of radio and later of television broadcasting in the children's audience / listener in the first two post-war decades in Czechoslovakia. It shows that the main reins of the children's media "partnership" took Czechoslovak television from Czechoslovak Radio in the first half of the 1960s, and that gradually the author's conception of the children's program retreated from didactic positions towards entertainment and inspiration ones of the leisure time.
