Czechia as a small laboratory of international migration

Abstract

As an inseparable part of world history and present, and an information-rich topic stimulating analytical thinking, migration should be included in geographical education. Migration teaching balances out the effect of biases spread in the public discourse.

It enables to discover interdisciplinary and time relations and demonstrate global phenomena on the example of one's own country. Migration situation in Czechia and its historical development are also summarized, providing teaching examples.
