Abstrakt
The chapter deals with the role the State plays in employment relations while taking into consideration the current situation in the Czech Republic. The main focus is on the role of the State at laying down the rules for functional employment relations; controlling the quality of working conditions; the role of adminitrator in industrial dispustes; the role of employer in the public sector and a party to the tripartite in negotiations conducted by social partners.
