Abstract

The author explores the concept of the history of Cinese philosophy as formulated by Egona Bondyho (1930-2007). She presents his sources and shows his complex relationship to contemporary sinological research.

In conclusion she positions Bondy's muh earlier writings with recent interest in transcultural and global philosophy.
