Book review of Daniel Friedmann The Purse and the Sword. The review analyzes core Friedmann's core arguments and claims that Friedmann pursues centrist liberal agenda.
That is refreshing within growing polarization of Israeli society, but ultimately highlights the structural problems of contemporary liberalism - in the context of Israel, liberalism fails to effectively address the identitary politics.
