Abstract
The article deals with formalized procedures that anable to intagrate environmental aspects into business strategies. Emphasis is laid particularly on the Environmental Management Systems, which are based on the norms of ISO 14000 family and on the EMAS system.
Environmental management is a "win-win strategy", so is profitable ecologically as well as economically. The article presents the options of applications of these systems and reflects their present operation.
