Abstract
The article draws teachers' attention to health issues around the world and describes how geographical skills (geographical data interpretation, map production etc.) can be gained by incorporating these issues into secondary school lessons. Students' tasks attached to this paper are focused on geographical distribution of selected diseases and make use of WHO and ECDC data.
