Abstract
This paper presents the results of a survey of the deserted medieval villages in Rakovník region. This survey was carried out in 2018 and has focused mainly on the abandoned villages Smrk and Pístný.
Both villages are known from written sources, but their form has not yet been determined. Abandonment of both villages is put into the 15th century.
This paper helps to indentify them in the terrain.
