Abstract
The chapter deals with the possibility of criminal prosecution of spreading false and false reports. Such reports may cause concern to at least part of the population of a particular location, which is historically considered harmful, serious, and dangerous.
The author discusses the current possibilities of penalizing this act in the Czech Criminal Code, but also points to the historical development of the legal regulation in this area.
